1. The small and large markets, the middle and high-end markets are almost monopolized by foreign companies, and the low-end markets are mainly small and medium-sized enterprises. According to statistics from the Garment Association, the size of the global zipper market in 2009 was about 60 billion. In the middle and high-end zipper market, the market share of brand zippers is more than 80%. The high-end luxury market is monopolized by Swiss zippers. Domestic zipper production enterprises are mainly small and medium-sized. According to statistics from the China Zipper Association, there are about 2-3 large enterprises with fixed assets of 100 million yuan and annual sales of more than 300 million yuan in Chinese zipper enterprises. Domestic enterprise competition is mainly concentrated in the low-end market. 

 2. There is a big gap between large domestic zipper companies and foreign brands, and the development of domestic brand clothing has brought good development opportunities. The products produced in China before 2005 were mainly exported to foreign high-end brands, and domestic brands were not included in the key customers. This gives manufacturers of accessories that are taking shape on a large scale, with huge opportunities and space for development. 

 3. In the competitive pattern of the zipper industry, the high-end relies on technology and the low-end relies on price. The middle and high-end market is slightly less sensitive to price, but the technical requirements are higher. Our country's zipper companies are still far from the international advanced level in technology. Although the market share is gradually declining every year, domestic companies do not have the strength to confront them head-on in the short term. The future development opportunities of domestic zipper companies mainly come from the rapid development of domestic brand clothing. 

 The low- and middle-end markets are basically in a competitive mode of low-cost sales, while the costs of large domestic zipper manufacturers are higher than those of small enterprises, and the low- and middle-end markets have no competitive advantage. Both the profit model and the development prospects require large domestic zipper manufacturers to make breakthroughs in the middle and high-end market, which inevitably requires continuous improvement of R&D technical capabilities to make product quality close to the international advanced level.
